What got me started in the auto glass industry? I was actually doing residential and commercial glass for a small company out on the Oregon coast. I moved out here and was working for another glass company, doing residential and commercial glass, and they also did auto glass. I think it was pouring rain one day. I was on an extension ladder, like three stories up, holding a really big piece of glass, and the wind is coming around. I am thinking, what am I doing? Then I get back to the shop, and the guys are in there working on a windshield replacement. I am like, man, they are nice and dry at the moment, and they are not having to be on a ladder. And I am just thinking, man, I want to learn how to do that. So I just started paying more and more attention to them doing auto glass versus the job I was doing with the residential and commercial glass. And then one thing led to another, and I started doing auto glass.
